BERRY ANTIOXIDANT SMOOTHIE
Antioxidants are one of the most important compounds when it comes to our skin health. Found in abundance in lots of fruits and vegetables, berries are my favourite way to make sure I’m getting enough. This smoothie is super easy and quick to make and because a lot of the ingredients are frozen, tastes delicious too. This is the perfect smoothie to make if you can’t quite stomach the green ones (yet!).
1 frozen banana
large handful of frozen mixed berries
1 large glass coconut milk
1 scoop vegan protein powder (unflavoured/vanilla or berry work well)
Blend all the ingredients in a high powered blender and drink immediately. Makes enough for two people so adjust the ingredients accordingly if just making for one.
